If you feel like you’re always scrambling for content, batching will change your life. I learned this the hard way after burning out trying to post daily for multiple clients. Now, I dedicate ONE day to creating a month’s worth of content. Here’s how I do it.
Step 1: Choose a Monthly Focus
All content pillars (Reels, carousels, stories) will orbit the marketing objectives and brand themes for that time period (usually a month).
Step 2: Brainstorm 12-20 Post Ideas for that month.
I aim for:
- educational
- product/service highlights
- community
- behind-the-scenes posts
Step 3: Shoot in Bulk
I block 2 hours to capture photos/videos for the month. Efficiency tip: I’ll get multiple angles per setup to repurpose into Reels, Stories, and Static Posts.
Step 4: Write Captions & Schedule
I’ll write all captions in Notion, then schedule through Metricool. This way, my brain is in “writing mode” and not distracted by platform notifications.
Step 5: Stories & Engagement Plan
I schedule recurring Story prompts (polls, Q&As) and block time to engage 15 minutes daily.
Content creation shouldn’t feel like a hamster wheel. When you approach it with a system, you shift from reactive to proactive — and that shift can free up your time to actually grow your business instead of constantly feeding the algorithm.
