Recently, I started reading The Unlimited Power Within You by Karen Hadadan, and one concept immediately stood out to me—the glitch phase.
You know that feeling when life doesn’t seem to match the vision you have for yourself? When you sense you’re capable of more, yet something feels misaligned? Karen describes this as a glitch. It’s a moment where reality falls short of your inner potential. A yearning for the moment where your current reality matches the entire truth that pulses within you.
At first, glitches feel immensely frustrating. They highlight the gap between where we are and where we know we’re meant to be. But Karen reframes them beautifully. These moments of dissonance aren’t failures; they’re catalysts. They stir something deep inside us, creating a yearning for growth and alignment.
The silver lining within glitches is they force us to pause and reflect. They remind us to cultivate gratitude, not just for where we’re headed, but for how far we’ve already come. Every unexpected twist in life grants us wisdom, shifting our perspective in ways we never anticipated.
Without glitches, the game of life would be stuck on the same level. No challenges, no upgrades, no evolution. Growth is found in the struggle, in the recalibration, in the glitching moments that push us toward something greater.
So maybe the next time life feels off, we can ask ourselves: What if this isn’t a setback, but a signal? A sign that we’re meant to level up?
Simply yours, Ky
